TECNOMATIC Zanker are installed in the upstream section of meter tubes to reduce flow turbulence preceding the orifice assemblies, flow nozzles, etc.

Zanker are economical because their use often allows sufficient reduction of stream meter tube length, so that a smaller building or enclosure is possible.

The Zanker flow conditioner consist of a perforated plate with holes of certain specified sizes followed by a number of channels (one for each hole) formed by the intersection of a number of plates.

The various plates should be as thin as possible but should provide adequate strength.
