TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
TM Tecnomatic produces a complete range of precision and
fast response temperature sensors of both thermocouple and
resistance temperature detector.
Thermocouples and resistance temperature detector are the
most common temperature measuring elements in use in the
modern industrial processes.
These devices offer the user a simple and cost effective
solution combining precision, repeatability and long-life
installations.
TM Tecnomatic temperature elements are manufactured and
calibrated in accordance with the most important
international standards, such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, IEC, ISA,
UNI, and their construction is in compliance with the best
known user standards, such as ENI, ISA, JIS, UOP.
TM Tecnomatic is certified in compliance with 94/9/EC
DIRECTIVE for applications in hazardous areas.
RW TUV Certificate EExd IIC T6X for EExd Classified Areas
and EExia IIC T6X for EExi Classified Areas.
TM Tecnomatic temperature sensors, after passing IEEE heavy
tests, were applied by ENEL (Italian Energy Authority)
together with the most eminent national and international
nuclear plant contractors for reactor temperature control.

Resistance thermometers
TM
Tecnomatic
resistance thermometers (RTD) are the most precise, stable
and high-repeatability devices of all temperature elements.
Manufactured as platinum wire wound resistance with the characteristics of
PT-100 Ohms @ 0° C and protected by solid MgO with metallic sheathed cable and
with spring loading to ensure contact with the thermowell.
Connection to secondary instrumentation by means of connection head or with
4-20mA head-mounted transmitter.
Calibration to international standards such as IEC 60751 is available. Such
applications as temperature measurement of the bearings of rotating equipment to
determine friction is possible with RTD elements.

Tecnomatic Certifications
Our suppliers of raw materials and semi-manufactured
components are selected according to ISO 9001:2000 (Vision
2000) certificate criteria and correspond, in general, to
the more advanced technical-organizing requisites.
Eventually, the whole process is constantly based on the
total improvement of the quality in order to determine the
complete satisfaction of the Client.
